The Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC) is the leading economic development organization serving Clark County, Washington. CREDC’s mission is to “develop a strong, innovative Clark County, Washington, business environment in collaboration with our private and public sector partners.” To accomplish this mission, CREDC provides business relocation, growth and innovation services to businesses in Clark County and interested in locating in Clark County.
In 2016 CREDC and their consultant team, supported by two stakeholder advisory groups, defined criteria by which to evaluate potential employment sites, developed an inventory of employment sites and provided a detailed review of selected employment sites to understand potential development constraints and economic benefits of development.
The 2019 update to the Clark County Employment Lands Inventory is presented on this application, mapping each potential site with detailed findings and providing a living resource for CREDC to use in support of their economic development mission. Users can leverage this application to foster economic development to selected employment lands in Clark County, and use it as a resource for policy and infrastructure investment decision-making. This interactive data map allows CREDC partners to review the details of each site, and see summaries of the site attributes, community economic and demography details.
To see summaries of the number and amount of employment lands or community data:
- Use the toolbar on the left to search and select a city, zip code or location, or select a custom area.
- Use the tabs on the Information Panel
To see the site details, click on the site, and basic information about the site will display in a pop-up. Complete site details can be shown by clicking on the detail button in the pop-up.
To control visibility of additional map information such as railroad and ports, historic zoning, and demographic basemap information, use the layer control tool to select desired views.
To access Real Estate listings, use the layer control tool to display listings, search and filter listings using the search tab.
